- How does Lossless work?
With Premium Platinum, you can choose to listen to your favorite music in up to 24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC, unlocking greater detail across the majority of tracks available on Spotify Premium. Lossless is available on mobile, desktop, and tablet, as well as on many devices that support Spotify Connect. Under Settings, you can choose between Low, Normal, High, Very High, and Lossless music quality for maximum flexibility and control.
- How do I turn on Lossless?
To turn on lossless audio in the Spotify app:
Tap your profile icon in the top left.
Go to Settings & Privacy → Media Quality.
Select where you want to enable lossless audio: Wi-Fi, cellular, downloads. - How does audiobook listening time work for Premium Platinum?
Premium Platinum plan managers have access to 12 hours of audiobook listening time every month from our audiobook subscriber catalog. Unused listening hours expire at the end of each month and do not carry over. Audiobook listening time is only included for plan managers.
- What happens when I have fully consumed my allotted hours for the month?
If you fully consume your plan’s monthly allotted time, you can purchase a top-up, available in increments of 10 hours, that allows you to keep listening to audiobooks before your next month's renewal.
- How does AI DJ work?
With Premium Platinum, by simply using your voice you can ask DJ to update your personalized listening session based on the music you want to hear at that moment.
- How do I add members to my Premium Platinum plan?
Premium Platinum is a plan for up to 3 household members who live together. We’ll ask for your address to ensure you live at the same address. You can invite a member to the plan right after the purchase.
Each member has their own separate Premium account and can listen at the same time with their own account. All saved music and playlists are their own. The other account holder cannot see what you are listening to. - Do Platinum members share an account, or do we each get our own?
Every household member invited to Premium Platinum gets their own Premium account, so you can each play your own music whenever you want.
You don't need to use each other's login details or schedule time when you can use Spotify. And because you now have separate accounts, music recommendations are tailored to your individual tastes. - How does the bill work? Do Platinum members split the cost?
The person who purchases Platinum will receive a single bill of the full subscription amount every month
