What we do?
To help aid our customer service agents you will provide the tools they need to troubleshoot user problems, which means integrating with all parts of Spotify’s infrastructure. You will also handle our self-service web-site where we present users with articles to help them solve their problems as well as gathering information about usage to assess problematic areas.
As part of the CS-dev team you get to interact with all parts of the company - from fetching user data to implementing statistics and finding deleted playlists. Communication is a key tool to a successful endeavour in all projects, whether it’s with our agents or other teams within technology.
Why do we do it?
We want our customers to be able to listen to music uninterruptedly, whether they’re on the metro, at work or taking a Sunday stroll. They shouldn’t need to worry about if their devices will work in a given environment.
Why should I care?
Because you love music and you want to help us spread the word. Besides we have the best developers around, and they’re not just good at geeky stuff - they’re also very friendly and helpful to newcomers. You will leave work knowing more than you knew arriving in the morning.
Who we think you are?
You’re a developer who feels comfortable moving around the stack - whether it’s downright Python- or PHP-coding or configuring Nginx, setting up a Cassandra cluster or a Postgres database. You’re no longer intimidated by new technology and buzzwords, you use the right tool for the right job.
What’s in it for me?
You get the usual perks; competitive salary, pension plan, 25 days of paid vacation, computer of your choice, big external screen, high-end mobile phone, game rooms, free snacks and beverages etc. But first and foremost, you will get a job you honestly enjoy.
So what should I do now?
Sounds like what you’ve been looking for? Great! Send us your CV and we’ll discuss if Spotify is right fit for you and the other way around.
