Label Relations Director

Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, high-calibre individual to contribute to our label relation’s efforts in Russia, based in Moscow. The Label Relations team manages hundreds of label relationships across the globe. Each label has a responsible Account Manager to attend to their needs. The Label Relations Director will develop/own/maintain the senior most relationships with key label partners and, ultimately, oversee the account management function.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Manager for the Label Relations Account Management Team
  • Develop and drive regional strategy
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with senior music business executives
  • Serve the needs of rights holders as relates marketing, intelligence, revenue
  • Develop B2B & D2C marketing approaches for leveraging the service
  • Offer guidance and insight into service functionality and evolution
  • Provide strategic and financial insight through business review
  • Help partners to achieve revenue targets/grow revenue
  • Analyse financial returns and assess outcome, react accordingly

Requirements:

  • Strong combined music and technology background
  • Min 3 years account management experience with an established digital music service, major record label or major media company
  • Min 1 year successfully managing a team
  • Proven track record of key results in marketing, strategy and infrastructure management/development
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Extremely adept with content management systems and supply chain processes with high-volumes of media
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to craft and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Excellent negotiating and people skills
  • Well organized with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
  • An extensive network of music industry contacts—rights holders, managers, agents, promoters and artists
  • Fluency in Russian and English a must.
