Clips Terms and Conditions

Effective As Of March 1, 2023

The Clips program is a Spotify for Artists Program governed by these opt-in terms and conditions (these "Terms") and the Spotify for Artists Terms and Conditions ("Spotify for Artist Terms"). By using Spotify for Artists, you have agreed to the Spotify for Artists Terms and by posting a Clip, you agree to these additional Terms. In these Terms, "you" or "your" includes the entity, organization or business that you represent (your "Subscribing Entity"), and you warrant that you are authorized to bind your Subscribing Entity to these Terms. References to your "Clip" mean the video that you upload under the program and all other elements embodied therein.

Once you post your Clip, it will be considered "User Content" (as defined in the Spotify for Artists Terms). This means, among other things, that by posting your Clip, you license that User Content to Spotify, as set forth in the Spotify for Artists Terms. This license includes (but is not limited to) the right of Spotify and its licensees (including without limitation Spotify users) to stream and display your Clip on Spotify and share onto third party platforms. In posting or sharing User Content on Spotify for Artists, please keep in mind that User Content may be re-shared by others on Spotify and across the web. We respect intellectual property rights, and ask you to do the same. By posting your Clip, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights required to post it and to grant the rights to use it as described above and in the Spotify for Artists Terms, on a through-to-audience basis and free and clear of any and all claims. In the event of any claims related to your Clip, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spotify.

Your Clip must also comply with our Spotify User Guidelines, Spotify Platform Rules and any other relevant policies provided to you or posted on Spotify for Artists. Please make sure to read closely those policies as well as the Spotify for Artist Terms to understand your full obligations regarding your Clip.
