Mobile

There is a mobile version of Spotify for many mobile devices. Check the Mobile page to see if your device is supported.

Everyone can log into their Spotify account in the mobile app. You can browse and edit your music library, listen to your own music files, and share music. You do need a Spotify Premium subscription in order to be able to stream music from Spotify’s online catalogue.

Sync your local files

Once you have imported your own music files into Spotify on your desktop computer, you can use Spotify to listen to all your own music files on your mobile. First, add your tracks to a playlist. Then set that playlist as “Available offline” in your mobile app.

Run Spotify on both your computer and your mobile, and make sure that they are connected to the same wireless network connection. Your music files will sync to Spotify on your mobile directly across your local wireless network.

Stream and sync to your mobile

By subscribing to our Premium service, you can enjoy all the features of Spotify mobile. A Spotify Premium subscription gives you unlimited streaming access to the full Spotify catalogue, directly from Spotify’s streaming servers - over both 3G and wi-fi.

In addition, you can sync playlists to your phone for use in offline mode. This comes in handy any time that you do not have an internet connection. In fact, synced playlists are great when you have a poor connection, or you want to conserve your battery.
