Creating a Spotify account

To enjoy Spotify you will first need to create a Spotify account. Your Spotify account is online, where your music library will be stored and accessible from anywhere.

If you have already created a Spotify account. Start the Spotify application, and log in with either your Facebook or Spotify username and password.

There are two ways to create a Spotify account.
If you have a Facebook account you can use it to log in, download and install Spotify. Then start Spotify, and enter the e-mail address and password that you use for Facebook. A Spotify account will be created for you automatically the first time that you log in.

Access your Spotify account anywhere

Once you have created an account you can log into it from any location. You can download Spotify to any computer. You can also log in to any computer that already has Spotify installed.

Your playlists, and the rest of the music library that you build up, will be stored online. You can find your music wherever you log in.

Viewing your account details

If you would like to view or change your account details, or change your Spotify service, you can access your account pages on the Spotify website. There is a “Log in” button in the top, right corner of the page.

Once you have logged in, the button will show your username. Press the button again to choose which account section to go to.

Alternatively, if you have the Spotify application running, you can easily access your account pages online by choosing “Your account” from the “Help” menu.
