What is Spotify Social?

Spotify Social is our name for all the features of Spotify that help you share music with friends. In fact, you’ll find you can share music with a single click.

Anything that you and your friends listen to on Spotify can be seen and shared by you all. Just drag and drop music between your usernames. The music will appear in your inbox.

If you’re on Facebook, you and your Facebook friends can even enjoy your own live stream. This will show you what everyone’s listening to, and let you enjoy one-click music sharing

You can choose what the world sees by editing your public profile and selecting which playlists you want to be visible. If you like, you can publish your weekly top six tracks and artists to show everyone your current favourites.

Spotify users can also subscribe to each other’s playlists. Each playlist will show you a popularity count based on how many subscribers it has. By clicking on the number, you’ll see the usernames of the people who have subscribed to that playlist.
