I don’t have a subscription. Why am I being charged for one?

If you’re being charged for a subscription that isn’t yours, we need to find out which Spotify account you are paying for.

We’d recommend that you double-check with your family and friends to see whether someone has been using your credit card details to pay for their Spotify subscription.

If you’re not successful, there is a direct way to find out which Spotify account is being funded by your credit card. To do so, you’ll have to get in touch with your bank. Please ask your bank for the exact date and time stamp of the last transaction going from your card account to Spotify, as well as the bank answer authorization code - a unique, six digit number. We can then use that information to pinpoint the transaction in our system and hopefully solve the problem.
