My wife had to cut short her gym session because she had no music to listen to. (no signal in the gym.) Shame on you. Think of others before you act in the future.
fix this, it hasn't been working for a few weeks now. I nowadays got maybe 20% of all the songs I used to have. I want to be refunded at least a couple of months of paying for a non working app. sincerely

I agree with Per_hassler. Noticing some of my songs disappear on a gradual basis. Big boasts on how many new songs per week but nothing on how many are coming off. I'm going to give it a couple of months and then I'm off.

I had a resync of hundreds of tracks a few days ago and wondered what was going on. Now I know.
@rob-chapman - I have also thought of some great improvements, let's hope at least one of them is in the list - GAPL E SSP LA Y (see how things are ruined by having gaps where there shouldn't be?)
I have this really great idea how you can improve Spotify: Deliver the service you're charging for. Having to resync or Spotify being down, well, I for one am fed up. My patience with Spotify "growing up", so to speak, in running out. If the mobile app is a huge reason why people are paying, then stop messing with it and sort out the current bugs first.
spotify is too expensive, i love it, but it is a little over priced, it should be around 35 to 45 a year, kind of like pandora is.
@markbham - I've also noticed that music is disappearing rather than getting added and this has me worried (I'm sure that music is being added all the time but apparently it just seems it is music I don't listen to). I've really liked spotify so far. It's the first music service I've actually subscribed to and now the disappearing tracks already have me looking for another service...

iPod Nano's shuffles etc. not syncing starred songs. Please your encrypted OGG files are BS, its inevitable people will cancel their subscriptions to your site if this is not dealt with accordingly.
Suggestion for the feature: Add a feature 'Virtual Concerts' where artists play live in a front of a 3d cam, and where the concert is streamed in 3d in the Spotify client!

It kept saying that i'm not allowed to do stuff in offline mode and I never put it in offline mode and I don't know how to go online. It kept saying there was a problem with the connection and that it couldn't play the song:-(
No wonder. I've been going crazy thinking it's something with my phone or my internet connection. I love Spotify and hope that this issue resolves shortly. My friend and I use this to share music for a dance class we teach and it's very frustrating to show up and have our music suddenly not work in offline mode or unsync itself. We have students paying for our classes and this throws a wrench into our routine. If there were a better way to update us, maybe a mass email to those of us that pay? That would have been appreciated in the future. Thanks!
Some of the people complaining need to re-evaluate their priorities. Spotify provide an excellent service for a very reasonable fee. If you think you can do better then go and do it instead of making exaggerated complaints.
Please fix the problem of running out of phone memory space on Offline tracks. At the moment there is no way of controlling the cache or the tracks you wish to keep offline. Many people have complained about this.
It would really help if you could organize your music on the mobile app alphabetically by artist, album,song ect.
I'm hoping someone can help me. I want to listen to my playlists on my mobile (Android) while running on my home treadmill so both mobile and pc will be connected to the same wireless. It worked once but now it says that offline mode is only available for premium users and I can't play any of my songs...but based on the description of the mobile service i shouldn't need to subscribe as long as both devices are connected to the same wireless account. Am I missing something?
Monica, you simply cannot use Spotify on a mobile device without a premium account, whether or not you are on a wi-fi network with the PC. There have been suggestions on the getsatisfaction forum for ways to broadcast the audio output on the web, which presumably could work well on a local network, but you would need some technical know how to set it up. (I'm not saying you don't have it, just that I don't know if you do!)
I've been a premium user since November, 2011 and my playlists completely disappeared on the first week of January, 2012. Spotify charged me for the month of January but not has fixed my problem so far NOR contacted me to follow up on the situation. This is ridiculous! Fix the problem or refund me my money!
I just payed for a premium user today, but I have had a problem to access on my iphone. It said "Sorry, Spotify Mobile currently only works in Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK, Spain and France". It so, I don't want to use a premium plan. Refund me my money if I can't use it on my iphone right now! (I'm living in the USA) and email me what process is going. My email is yuny0806@gmail.com
Andres, please could you give us SOMETHING concrete? A timescale, an idea of the proposed changes, anything? This sort of announcement is about as much use as a barbed wire pillow.
A small amount of tracks you say Andres? My phone is trying to re-sync 359 tracks and it doesn't seem to be syncing at all! There is so much I just don't understand about Spotify offline mode. Such as some tracks will play offline when the arrow is greyed out and some won't - why?! I also championed SF for the first few months but now it is just gradually grinding me down (tech issues, removal of recordings, albums etc.) so am seriosuly considering moving on.
Well whatever you did, it doesn't work on my computer anymore and it did a few weeks back. I'm running windows 2000 and it used to work not so much now. I would like if you fixed the problem, and or add windows 2000 to the downloads.
dear spotify, much as i think you are brilliant, i beg you on bended knees to extend your services so that those of us with blackberry torches can use you....am currently walking around with my old iphone in my bag just so's i can use spotify....daft!!! please let us know when we can expect spotify.....didn't know i wouldn't be able to get you when i upgraded my old phone, now wish i hadn't....grrrrr!!
what happened to the radio? at first i was able to pick sever genre for my liking and able to repeat that same song after it was over. or go back to 2 songs before. it doesnt work like that anymore and i am pretty disappointed in that.
Thank you for working on this. It's not a deal-breaker, just a hassle. Me and others appreciate the hard work! It's not hard to notice that a lot of people get quite emotional over this. Hang in there and please don't let it get you down. It must be pretty amazing to have so many people so hooked on your service that minor inconveniences make them so emotional. Nice job nailing the product market fit.
Im happy to hear that you are working omn that problem. But i got a bigger issue! A lot of mayor artist / bands are leaving spotify. Even i'm realy thinking about leaving premium because of that. So please clearify this!
Nearly every song I listen to on my desktop starts skipping randomly. Nothing else on my computer is acting funny, so I think it's a problem with Spotify itself.
I have been signed in as a FREE user when invited from cousin in UK. haven't been in for months but wanted to clean our my LIBRARY today and can't get into it no matter what I do! I still want the FREE service as I don't use music on my ipad etc. - only to listen to on computer. How can I get into my account again, without being forced to pay premium fees. to clean out my account? Wish someone had notified me so I could have done this before the changes!
I love spotify, it would be my weapon of choice always for all my music if my local files were easier to navigate :0) I don't just like to listen to free music but also the music I have purchased :0) Hence at the mo I currently flip between spotify and itunes. I'd certainly suggest looking into improving this. From a users perspective we think: "yeah i like this tune, I've purchased it, but its a pain in the bum to try to find it now among my other tunes" - Really good to see the last.fm app tho! and you guys are doing an excellent job - thank you from a music enthusiast :0)
The new Spotify does not run very well unfortunately. It takes forever to load and everything is very slow compare with the older version. It's sad that I had to stop using it.
I've been a premium user for over 2 years now and the offline functionality was excellent. I used it much less frequently in the last 3 - 4 months and now I've started again found that it's virtually unusable. Like others on this thread I seem to have to constantly re-sync off-line tracks (I've been doing it constantly for the last 3 days). What used to take minutes now takes literally hours. Searching likeswise can take 10 - 20 minutes to find nothing and tracks constantly skip. The service was great and I was a huge advocate but I'm also losing patience. Please fix it or I'll have to cancel my subscription.
Is this the place to whine about everything and threat to cancel my subscription? I've noticed some problems with syncing my own music to iPhone, but other than that Spotify has been a dream for so ridiculous amount of money. In my eyes Spotify's biggest setbacks came with the forced Facebook social thingies. It's good that many of the annoying features can be disabled, but things like sharing songs from spotify inbox also automatically sends a facebook message is very very annoying and many of my friends have stopped sharing tracks because of it :( I still like Spotify, just hope things will stay simple and fun.
Was just looking around the interwebs for the reasons and why my iPhone hasn't sync's with desktop or if it does it takes forever and then I lose the tracks again. Seems the bother mentioned above has a lot to do with it. I've been paying for Spotify for 2 years and loved the resource it gave me. But like others in the feed, I'm rapidly going off the service due to performance/cost. Forget Spotify apps, get the Spotify app working/delivering the music we all signed up to hear! Please :D
