Spotify Scrobbles

Did you know that Spotify has built-in support for music recommendation service, Last.fm? To get the music flowing, just go to the Preferences menu and plug in your Last.fm account details.

Once you’re connected, all the music you listen to on Spotify will be automatically scrobbled to Last.fm.

Based on your taste, Last.fm will recommend you more music and even local events. You’ll also be able to explore what songs you play most often, how much you’ve played an artist over a certain amount of time, and even discover which of your friends have similar tastes. If you don’t have a Last.fm account yet, sign up here.

Can you listen to last.fm recommendations in spotify?

thank you for doing this. i am quite addicted to scrobbling...and i don't even have a reason why. thanks for being my fix! :)

What happens to the songs Premium users listen while offline? Are they scrobbled to Last.fm the next time the device is connected to the internet or after syncing with a computer?

What's up with the commercials? Every time a commercial plays, I can't hear it, and then in order to get my music playing again I have to either log out or change playlist. It wasn't like this when I first starting using this program. Other than that, love it.

But when will you implement the last.fm "recommendations" and "new releases from your favourite artists" into the desktop app? What about having that alongside What's new?

Thanks for adding this feature. I might not have used this service if last.fm integration wasn't available in some form.

Now if we could just get the Android version to scrobble while in offline mode. Of if nothing else, maybe support for third party scrobble apps?
