24 hour programming – team Spotify
This weekend four of our talented developers will be participating in the programming competition Challenge 24 in Budapest, Hungary. 30 teams have qualified for the onsite finals in this 24 hour marathon competition. Last year a team of Spotify developers came in fourth place - we hope for an even better result this year!

Ahh so now we know why you cut down the free service, you couldn't afford to send 4 people to budapest. Personally I would have prefered you didn't go to Budapest and the free service carried on being a service, rather than trash.

People are just going to go and download music illegally now since thats what they did before Spotify came along. Thanks for letting us have it for free for so long and then hitting us with a charge. That really sucks and for music lovers everywhere, we listen to more than 10 hours of music a month so your 10 hours system thing is really useless.

ok this is the worst thing that have happened in a long time and as byoung09 says probably every free user will download illigally and there might be 5 or 6 people that will buy but most will take the easy way out and ye hope u guys lose this damn thing that u are doing

Spotify is the best way to enjoy as much music as you want for a low amount a month. Freeloaders think of the artists as real humans who also need to make a living. Is 9,99 a month to much to ask for?

Wow, alot of people slating the developers. Obviously they deal with Spotify's price setting aswell... As a paid user I dont really care about the changes.. But ipod and free mobile support isnt a bad trade off in my opinion. Keep up the good work guys and good luck.
