now maybe it's time to update the desktop UI?

but thanks for this- seems to be a big improvement!

awesome. how about linking directly to the app page, and not just the market landing page?

Excellent! Just add Playlist Folders and this app will be near perfect. :)

I was advised by a customer service operative to cancel my Premium account as the previous App did not load because I had too many playlists (not sure exactly, but quite a few hundred). Can you confirm if this quite serious bug has been fixed?

Finally, My android wouldnt download my full playlist hopefully that bug is fixed now... :')

Also the .apk linked from m.spotify.com still points to the old version.

Not work! If you press Menu - Quit -> you can't login back without retyping password and username. Not remember path... Previous version works fine, no need to login back... Galaxy S...

Sounds like most of my problems are fixed (syncing failing to work while the screen was locked was seriously annoying), I shall definitely be going Premium again for a month to find out!

Great work team ! Nice new UI, faster, that's perfect But i din't find how to change my storage folder. Documentation would be great :-p Thanks SGS Gingerbread

Mysteret: "This build adds the ability to select the storage location for Spotify on your phone from the Menu button when you’re on the login screen."

Thanks ! I found it ;-)

OK Great. Now, can you please relese it for WP7 also?

Excellent! When for linux?

Excellent !!!, but, ...... how can i change my folder storage ?????

And still no iPad app, o well, I switched to Napster anyway....

Still crashes my HTC Desire every time I lose network coverage. Not just Spotify, the entire phone goes down.

Good updates! Especially beeing able to choce storage location. Still missing an EQ though :/

Search when offline please :)

Thanks for the update, please add playlist folder support!

1 hour ago carlengues said: Excellent !!!, but, ...... how can i change my folder storage ????? you have to remove the existing cache by tapping your way to spotify settings on your phone and tapp "Clear saved data" and tapp ok. now uninstall your spotify app. Then use astro or similar to fin the full path of your external SD card (on LG P990 2X it is /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD) now you can install the spotify client from the market and before you enter your username and password you push your phone's "setting/menu" button there you see a sdcard icon. here you enter your external SDcard path that you found earlier. log on and you should now see that your storage has increased.

Thanks, had to do full reset to actually move data to sd card, but this was much needed and appreciated! (on Galaxy S the right path is /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/)

awesome updates

Awesome update!... Android Spotify APP FTW :)

Certainly hope this fixes the problem loading the android app when you have alot of playlists - havent been able to listen to Spotify "on the go" for more than a year... Fingers crossed! =)

Don't mind the 10 hour limit, but I strongly protest the 5 play limit.

When will spotify for android 3.0 be released?

Awesome! Have been waiting for this one in a long time!

No OGG import? That sucks. You'll have me as a subscriber one more month, if such a basic flaw isn't fixed by then it's back to Winamp.

I'll even dig up this _11 month old post by you_: Rasmus Andersson 11 months ago in reply to monk I was mistaken. We did not include OGG audio in this release, but we will in the future. That future's come and gone, guys. Can't keep promises?

Can we see landscape mode that works with the accelaromator! We need an option to turn this off and on, for those that don't need it.

SÄÄÄÄR!!!! jag vill lyssna på min musik :O utan att loggas ut och att mina låtar försvinner.....

How can I use spotify in my phone and how to see my old play list

Seems to work better, thanks! But please, fix an update with EQ!!

Give me an update with the goddamn EQ!!!

Still mising a EQ! Thank you for music!

After updating spotify freezes my motorola milestone.

still cant put it on my external SD card.. how to do? (Galaxy S)

This was a very bad update for me. I have a HTC Desire, after the update about 50% of all my downloaded tracks said they couldent be playd offline. So I cleard spotify and tried to redownload the playlists but cant because spotify screams about the disk being full. The disk is far from full. Fix this fast please.

How do I convert my cd's that I have uploaded to MP3 files to put on my MP3 player

Great news. Didn't realise that the reason my local tracks were taking days to sync over WiFi was because the app stopped syncing when the screen locked. This should be all sorted now.

Awesome. You basically fixed all the issues I was having. Just one more issue: I travel a lot; why not lift the regional restrictions in the Android Market so that people don't have to use work-arounds to get the app. :)

Great bug fixes, it works fantastic now!

I simply cannot get the app to save offline tracks to the external SD card. I've tried a lot of different things, but still no success. Please, Spotify: Give us a thorough description on how to do this!

After update Spotify Motorola Milestone (2.2) crashes every time song is played, search is also not working. (no reaction when pressing button). Even menu (delete offline cache) not working........HELP!!;-)

Sucks! This version took over my headset remote control. I can't control andriod stock player no more. Now remote only controls Spotify. Had to reboot my phone to make it work with stock player. Than again after opening Spotify I lost control over the other player. Exiting Spotify or force-stopping it wouldnt help... only reboot did the trick. Is there a way to remove this update and go back to previous version? HTC Legend

I can not make the songs will be in offline mode, I have to listen to it then get them in offline mode, before it was just that I made the folder in offline mode and then syncs all the songs.
