Please, let me nexet / previous / play / pause from the remote in my iPhone earphones. That's all I want. I don't care about the social aspect, the unable to play tracks, the album year... Bring us that in the next update!

Okay, still waiting for the Android update....
@zaxer - At the moment Spotify can't do that because of the limitations of iPhone OS. Fortunately iPhone OS 4 (due this summer) will let them make use of the remote on the earphones, as well as playing music in the background whilst you do something else.
I'm with you jpfn. Please could you let us know if there is an update coming soon for Android? Even an estimated date would be good so we can have something to look forward to.
And what about an update for Symbian devices?
You know they don't announce the delivery dates for ANY version right? it's not like we knew 4 weeks ago another iPhone edition was coming out... Just so everyone's clear that it's not like iPhone users are any different. On the other hand i will ask @spotify - The only thing that's got on my nerves is the having to resync.. and for 'some reason' it makes it seem like you can sync songs in your local library to play in spotify? The playlists exist, but i can't play them... am i making sense?

@discomcdisco to be honest no its not, as a developer you need to push out new feature updates across all the platforms rather than focusing on one, especially since we are all paying the same to use the service, yet at the minute iphone users are getting more for their money. android is still waiting for scrobbling to be activated!

When the album name is too long can not be read on the screen, therefore you can not see the year. Can you fix this error?

Awesome, but I'd like to see some more basic features - like the ability to sort by artist/track name. Or just having a scrolling bar at the side - it is such an effort to scroll to the bottom of playlists! and "library" needs to come along ;) but still lovin' the app

Disaster! At some point yesterday (12th may) before I even updated to this version, all my offline tracks were wiped from my iPhone. I guess your server decided to trash them all for some stupid reason (what's goin on?!). So last night I updated to the latest software release and then resynched all 500 songs overnight. They were ok this morning and now at some point today (13th May) they have all been trashed again! Arggghhhh!!! You are driving me crazy! I would roll back my client version but this is obviously a problem with your hosting service so there's nothing i can do. Please sort it out. This app has been amazing in the past. It's a shame you are ruining it with yr kamikaze approach to development and change roll-out. :-((
Brilliant! I absolutely love the spotify iphone app and you guys keep making it better. But is there any way you could add the ability to 'queue' tracks on the iphone similar to the desktop app ? This would make the spotify app replace my ipod app completely! Also an iPad app would be nice but I'm sure you guys have a lot to work on.

Everyone seems to think that being impatient and rude in the comments will get us a new Android update all the more faster. Whilst I would also like at least a whisper of a detail regarding when we can expect it ("soon" is a bit vague), I'm going to do the kind thing, and as politely. Dear Spotify, Please can you give us some indication as to when we can expect an Android update, and what it might feature (Spotify social integration, local file syncing, last.fm support etc), just to put our minds at ease a little. Good for those with iphones, while us with android and other OS is left out in the dark. It should be more important to lift the other existing versions up to support the new Spotify features. I dont like Spotify taking this direction, it doesnt look promising for the future.
Erm yeh mines broken now... It says I have to sync a song if I want to play it, even though they were all on there from before. I can't even search for a song and play one :(
@dinez: I doubt a Windows Mobile version is on its way. Windows Mobile is the losing mobile OS this generation (Symbian, iphone OS, android and blackberry OS are all much bigger), and Microsofts attempt to catch up is starting from scratch: It's not backwards compatible. Thus, even companies who currently supported Windows Mobile, like Skype, pulled out as it has no future. Maybe spotify will support the next version when it appears later this year.

Yeh, I noticed the same thing as the last post. Strange not having a send (to friend in spotify) option considering you have an inbox to receive tracks from other users. Can you imagine an email client that supports inbound mail, but has no send capability. - Just weird! ** PLEASE SORT OUT SOME FOLDERS FOR US TO ORGANISE OUR PLAYLISTS ** - Sadly lacking!
The Android app has to be updated too! Android users pay the same Premium fee, it is not fair.

anyone else having sync issues to there iphone of songs eing greyed out not allowing to play offline also when syncing taking ages to sync one song i have reported this to spotify but they dont seem to give a shit
So now 2 iPhone updates with no corresponding Android update. An increasing bloated desktop application. I'm becoming increasing sick of Spotify and it's development (or not) path. Can't see me staying Premium for much longer, will be looking at alternate services.

1 month ago I wrote on your blog: "Love the fact tracks in album now play in correct order, including when swiping right. Thanks!" What happened? - the feature I like, (being able to listen to tracks in the correct order), has gone. Try listening to a show like 'Chicago' when the tracks are all over the place - the story element disappears. :-(

I am also unable to play music from spotify, it says I need to sync with iTunes or over wifi for everything including things I know to be in the spotify library. I have a 3gs and have iPod intergration turned off.

Turned on iPod intergration, all now seems fine. Happily playing from iPod and streaming.
