We previously announced that you could purchase Spotify Premium months in 7-Eleven & Narvesen stores in Norway. Starting today we’re extending this offer so that you can also purchase premium months in ICA and Rimi stores located in Norway. You can select one, three, six or twelve month purchases.

You’ll receive a receipt that contains a code. Log into the Spotify website and enter that code on the premium purchase page and your account will be immediately upgraded so that you can start enjoying the benefits of a premium subscription.
So whether you’re an existing user and you’re looking to upgrade or you’re brand new to Spotify and want to start out with premium, head over to ICA or Rimi and purchase your codes.

Spotify til folket!
Er dette på alle ICA og Rimi-butikker? Selv de alle minste i utkantstrøk?
Spotify til Danmark!
Egrindhe: Ja dette gjelder alle ICA Nær, ICA Supermarked, ICA MAXI og Rimi butikker i hele Norge. // Andrè Sunnevåg Olsen, ICA Norge.
Spotify :)
Now come to R-Kioski in Finland for us people who don't have PayPal accounts or credit cards!
:D
Hipp hurra
what happen with Sweden?
@kalle1965 - MNV's catalogue was recently purchased by Universal. We were instructed to remove it from the old owner but hopefully back up soon via Universal.
When we are talking about premium, what is keeping you from releasing premium to other countries? Even the largest country in Europe is still left out in the cold! (Germany) I do not see why you cannot "silently" release Spotify Premium in other countries, even if you wait with the "official release". If the record companies are that difficult to deal with that they wont even allow premium accounts in other countries, then they can go f... themselves :P I think it is great to see how good your product is and how much it is developing, but you need to get yourself into more territories. Everyone and his dog around the world have already heard about Spotify, but if it never gets released in the rest of the world, people will get tired of it/pissed off even before you get a chance to show them your great offering. Kind of what Netflix is doing to Europeans... I WANT NETFLIX YESTERYEAR!! I'm Norwegian myself by the way.
@andres - This is useful information to know, it's just sad that it is tucked away in some blog post on a completely unrelated subject. If you published this kind of information in the blog instead of waiting until someone complains before acknowledging it, it would make life easier for everyone. There would be a lot less posts in the forum asking why content had been removed if you simply told people what is happening in the blog instead. Or is there some kind of unwritten rule that you can't write anything negative in the blog, only posts with a positive spin are allowed?
@digithed - We've posted plenty of 'negative' news so I think you're suggestions that we hide stuff is way off. With the vast amounts of changes that go on in the music industry there is simply no way to post each time something like MNV's change happens, it'd be all we did here.
@andres - I'm not suggesting that you log every single change on the blog (although for transparency's sake that would be no bad thing if it were technically possible), I understand that you probably remove content every day. It's just that you are very quick to inform us when a new label, no matter how small, has been signed up. But in this instance remained quiet while an entire label was removed.
@andres - Sorry if it came across in my post that I am trying to put Spotify down or apportion blame, I'm not, it's just that you're not doing yourselves any favours in terms of Public Relations. At the moment it seems like Spotify is just the on-line branch of the record labels, completely at their behest and following slavishly whatever they say. This is a dangerous position to be in since the majority of your users hate the record labels and their out of date business model. Perception is everything and Spotify needs to position itself more so that it looks like you are fighting for the rights of your users to legally listen to whatever they want wherever they want, even if this means making the occasional dig at the record labels. Apple have been the masters at bending perception, they give the impression that they completely control iTunes and that it was them that fought on behalf of their users to make the record labels remove DRM and they fought against variable pricing etc. The truth is probably quite different but like I said perception is everything and Apple make their users feel that they are fighting on their behalf against "the man". Right now it feel like Spotify is under the complete control of "the man". All I am suggesting is that you need to communicate more with your users so they are on your side when the record labels do something stupid like removing content, otherwise you will get the blame the whole time and people will start to hate Spotify instead of hating the complex and unnecessary publishing system that the record industry has built up but is no longer relevant in a global environment like the internet.
hehe, my impression was that it was Apple themselves that introduced and tried to keep DRM, I even think I read articles about that..? Well, they sure got a good scrape in my book from that mess and Spotify has way more cred with me than Apple does. Apple is a huge megacompany, they are "the man" that you seem to dislike so much.
About something completly different. Something that has annoyed me and upset me alot when using spotify is how spotify links are handled. When I clink the link of a song the song starts playing immediately. VERY annoying and upsetting when I am in the middle of a good song already that is abruptly stopped. I would want an option in the settings to tell the program what to with song links. For example: Play immediately, queue after current track, queue after current playqueue etc. PLEASE FIX THIS! :)
// André Sunnevåg Olsen, ICA Norge AS.
