Music catalogue updated with 120,410 tracks
Another big update to our music catalogue, some of these were added last week but I wasn’t able to post them then so I’ve included everything in today’s update. We added 9,266 albums and singles to the catalogue, in total 120,410 new tracks are now available.
A few highlights includes:
- Invaders Must Die by Prodigy
- Logos by Atlas Sound
- I Told You I Was Freaky by Flight Of The Conchords
- The B.Q.E. by Sufjan Stevens in the UK
- A couple of back catalogue releases from My Morning Jacket
Have a look at the Google doc for the full listing of all the releases. As with every update not all albums listed may be available in your country and some tracks previously available may no longer be playable due to regional restrictions.

Spotify teams up with 3 UK
We’re happy to announce that we’ve struck a deal with 3 UK to bring Spotify Mobile to its customers from November. 3 is a great partner for us as it has a long history of bringing popular internet services, such as Skype and Facebook, to its mobile customers.
Spotify Mobile will initially be available on the HTC Hero which will be the first Android handset to launch on 3. If you’re interested in getting more news, head over to the 3’s official site and sign up your email.

I was really looking forward to both the Flight Of The Conchords and the Gaby & the Guns album, very nice! Just get some Pink Floyd, The Beatles and get Rammstein back online in Sweden and Im happy. :)

A track has disappeared from the Shakira album "She Wolf". I think it was called "Anos luz" - any explanation? Unfortunately it was the best track and also removed from playlist

Great update but what's the deal with the Subpop stuff now? I understand it's all switched distribution in Europe or something. Any plans to get it back soon, if so, how soon?

Aaaaand once again, users got screwed by rights deals... Flight of the Conchords first album, wich were one of my favorite listening a few weeks ago, got rid of the France availables tunes list. I was so thrilled to finally be able to listen to the second one, imagine my deception when I found that not only I won't be able to listen to the second one, but even the first one is gone also ! I am so so pissed, I cannot express how much I am disappointed. Worst thing is that I don't even know who to blame or where to direct my rage: Spotify for not closing that deal ? The label ? The music industry as a whole ? SOMEONE have to endorse that responsability. And I need to know who and where. SOMEONE have to understand that it cannot continue that way long or my subscription is not going to last and my dimes will be lost for Spotify, the label, and the music industry as a whole. (I do expect an answer, thanks)

@pif - Flight of the Conchords are signed to the label Sub Pop for France and the UK. Sub Pop is changing digital distributors for those countries and is no longer covered by the licensor we had a deal with. Hopefully they'll get up and running with their new distributor soon and then will resubmit their music to Spotify for the countries where it's been removed.

maybe it would help if we knew WHO is the new Sub Pop distributor ? Don't tell me they drop the previous one without having another deal ?, that doesn't make any sense. because if it's someone who you don't have a deal with, well, the answer is not "hopefully soon" but "you're screwed" which isn't exactly the same thing. On a more positive note, I'd like to mention the last Rival consoles ep "helvetica" on that latest update, that makes electronica/IDM as exciting again as it was in the mid 90s ;)

yep, Kning disk is great. just one bizarre thing, the "Farväl Falkenberg"soundtrack by Erik Enocksson is on Spotify, which is good, but is NOT part of kning label search list. All the more weird when you see the "2006 kning disk" listed in its details :)
