This update went live last night but I didn’t get a chance to post what was included so here’s a nice Saturday read. We added 7,034 albums and singles, in total 65,763 new tracks are now available.
A large part of this update comes from CDBaby and INgrooves which has some interesting nu-disco and club music. A few highlights include:

some interesting finds in there :) . didn't know about "African Dope records" but these south african electronic/mutant hip-hop discs are really great (I just remember the "Kalahari surfers" name from some 80s experiments on RER Megacorp but I had no idea it still exists...) .few more Dubstep entries on spotify (much more is needed though, genre is cruely underrepresented here...) with Bassism records. Gunstab ep (bassism 006) is really great .last but not least, all latest releases by Fonal label (nice finnish freak-folk-psych label) are more than welcome (Es/Tomutonttu/ Killa...) it'll do for today :)
Thanks Andres, another great update to the catalogue. Good to see more Dubstep on Spotify, something one of our members has been looking for. Also good to see an album from Oasis "Dig Out Your Soul". Hopefully they'll look to provide their full works sometime soon! James

Erm...can I just ask where almost all the records by the band Travis have gone? They were there yesterday, but not today...?
I know this isn't as related to the topic as it should be, but as far as i'm aware there isn't any kind of forum where i can ask this kind of question. Is there a way to combine play lists temporarily? EG: i wanted to just mix my cold play one with my Nickelback one for an hour or so. Is there some way that was possible without having to reselect every song that i like after searching for the artist again?

PLEASE!!! you've got to add Dropkick murphys album "The meanest of times". Spotify also need more of Flogging Molly. And I would be really happy if you could add the soundtrack from "over the hedge" they've got some really good music there. ;)
Hmm, I'm not sure if this is a Spotify or a Last.fm issue, but the tracks I play in Spotify are no longer scrobbled to last.fm (worked just fine until a couple of days ago). The current track appears under "listening now" but it's never saved after it's finished.

Spotify has loads of tracks but it is missing the red hot chili peppers albums. I think loads of people would like there tunes up ! =) They have all there smaller unknown albums , and could realy do with there later ( better ) ;) albums =) C.

The Beatles : I doubt it could be possible, all that's about the copyright of their song is soooo complicated... Maybe a way to discover less well known bands? ;) I use and abuse (translation from french : j'use et j'abuse, don't know if it's right) Spotify, I really adore this possibility to discover so many artists. I see a big effort has been done on indie rock, happy to see some of my favourites here. One thing about the scrobbling on lastfm : when there are two (or more) artists, only the first name appears. Is it possible to change that ?
