We are delighted to announce that on April 20th Paul Brown will be joining us as our UK Managing Director. Paul is a great addition to our team and we’re excited that he’s joining us.

No stranger to the online music business, Paul comes to us from the cool U.S. music service Pandora where he was Managing Director, International. Before that Paul was a director at Sony Music UK where he spent 6 years and did a lot to help expand their digital music business. Paul is also a Non Executive Director at recording artist financing business Slicethepie and is retained as a consultant with Topspin Media.

Paul is another wannabee DJ, we seem to attract a lot of them, but his 1210s are sadly stowed away in a cupboard to prevent his 3 year old son jumping on them. He tries to get out to gigs as often as possible and plays a little guitar but Summertime Blues and Like a Rolling Stone are all he can really get through. Most of his time is spent on his main hobby, his two little kids.

The reception to Spotify in the UK has been phenomenal and Paul’s expertise is going to help us take it to the next level. Welcome aboard!
