Your own music files have no limitations. When you import them into Spotify, put them into your playlists, and sync them to Spotify apps on other devices, they do not need any validation.
Spotify streaming music can be cached for 30 days. After that, all you need to do, is log in to Spotify online with your device. This will extend the lifetime of your offline synced playlists for another 30 days. You are most likely to be logging in online regularly, to update your playlists. In that case, your cache lifetime won’t be something you need to worry about.
