DJ Shadow is considered one of the most important, if not THE most important, artists in the history of instrumental hip hop, having pretty much defined the genre on his 1996 album, Endtroducing, in which he introduced the world to the idea that a whole album could be build up completely from samples. Since then Shadow was part of the UNKLE line up that released Psyence Fiction and released 2 further solo albums, 2002’s The Private Press and 2006’s The Outsider, developing and changing as an artist with every move
DJ Shadow is currently on a year long world tour, on which, like his music, he is pushing the boundaries of DJ Culture, performing in a 360 degree, fully enclosed shadow sphere, swathed in projections making for a unique audio-visual experience.
Find out more about DJ Shadow, in his own words, here.
Look out for the Deluxe Edition of the album available from Monday.

No comments? It's a pretty good album, may be a grower, but I don't think it'll ever grow to Endtroducing... legend status!
