Would it not make more sense to add the recognized song to a special playlist called 'recognized songs' or even to a playlist titled with the date/location where it was recognized? I don't want to play back a song already playing on my personal phone, nor do I want to have to go to very many steps to actually get it into a playlist while enjoying the music...
I'm not happy. Isn't possible hearing Spotify and using SoundHound, for example to raed THE lyrics I think that musa be compatible When???? Thanks
Awesome, wish I could get a refund from Shazam (which isn't nearly as good at identifying songs)! Can't wait for this in the US. Also, feature suggestion: rather than "Play in Spotify", it'd be great for it to "Add to Spotify playlist" (with that playlist set in the preferences for Soundhound).

My Soundhound App doesn't show "Play now on Spotify"...! What up!?
So now I will prefer SoundHound to Shazam...because with Shazam you need to pay for the Shazam Encore to get this option...(on the iPhone)
I agree with 'guusbaggermans' above. I'd love to be able to add the current song to a Spotify list from SoundHound so that I can listen to it later on. If the song is playing right now in a bar or wherever I'm hearing it, what's the value in me playing the same song from my tiny little phone speaker at the same time? I'd rather save the current song to a list so that I can listen to it when I get back to my house or my office on the decent speakers.

We need lyrics and music together. Is it possible to combine Soundhound lyrics with Spotify music?
Don't see the Spotify option in Soundhound, using the latest version of the app. Spotify is installed on this iPhone 3GS and I have a working (Dutch) Premium account. They check the country I'm now in or so (I'm very mobile and currently in Asia)?

Please, I beg of you, bring this ro the US (and hopefully other counties 'cause SO many people want this). I know Spotify partnered with Shazam but Shazam is an inferior product to SoundHound. It takes longer to find songs, the interface isn't as pleasing, etc. I can not abide using inferior products (which is why I use Spotify rather than Rdio, Rhapsody, etc.). This feature Would increase the functionality of BOTH apps tremendously, allowing them to work together to deliver an unprecented, all encompassing music discovery experience on their iPhone.
