Interesting... problem solving. I was expecting a contest which would require more creativity, so this is not really for me :) Sorry for off-topic, but for all those who still moan about the limits on open/free accounts: Spotify has given us free music for over two years, and now they limit the basic accounts a little (though the limited playtimes are a little unfortunate). But still.. unlimited costs 5 euro! 5 euro... I mean, you can save that much by riding your bike every now and then instead of taking the bus. Just put things in perspective sometimes. (feel free to moderate:)

Seriously folks get over yourself. I might not personally like the changes made to spotify but to post of everything even if it's no way related is just childish and stupid. The programming sounds fun though - if it wasn't for my exams I'd be right there trying to stretch my skills out a big. Good luck!

Or, I have another solution dor this "Free Spotify Issue" : Leave it and, like I've done, go there : http://www.deezer.com That's not perfect, but at least, they are not trying to force you to pay!!! A very disapointed user.
@jiiibiii : Deezer isn't unlimited anymore. 5 hours/months for free accounts. To stay off-topic : I pay 10€/months for the premium version of Spotify, so those new limitations doesn't concern me. I think it's a little expensive, but it's a good way to listen to music without being off the law. In a perfect world I'd be happy to hear that artists are getting a part of this money, but anyway... Another off-topic (more or less) : Thanks for the new Linux beta ! It's getting really good, I hope the programming challenge will be about the Linux and maybe an iPad version ? Anyway, good luck with this challenge !
