Cat’s Eyes are the duo of Rachel Zeffira, a renowned Canadian opera soprano and classical multi-instrumentalist based in London, and Faris Badwan, the singer from British psychedelic-rockers The Horrors.

They played their first ever live show last December in the grand setting of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, during an afternoon mass attended by seven high-ranking cardinals - a video of which you can watch on the band’s Youtube along with tracks from their debut release, the ‘Broken Glass’ EP.

Their self-titled debut album is released on April 11 but you can listen to it in full from today exclusively on Spotify Premium.

The record has already received glowing reviews from the likes of Vice Magazine, Q, i-D and Mojo - who labelled it “one of the first landmark releases of 2011″.
