Win tickets to see Mahler’s Eighth Symphony at The Royal Albert Hall
To mark the centenary of Gustav Mahler’s death, five choirs including the Vivace Chorus and the London Symphony Chorus, are combining with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform one of the greatest and most ambitious choral works, Mahler’s Eighth Symphony – the Symphony of a Thousand.
This highlight of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s London concert season will involve a full symphony orchestra, eight soloists, two huge choruses and a children’s choir. We have two pairs of tickets to give away to Spotify Premium subscribers for this wonderful event courtesy of our friends at The Royal Albert Hall.

Was trying to work out if it was a trick question (Mahler wrote a couple of Opera's which I think have mostly been lost) but I think it does have to be his 3rd Symphony. One of my favorite Mahler works is his 9th Symphony - particularly the last 'Adagio' movement. The heavy use of strings, the initial low sultry melodic lines - very moving.
