Domino Records has joined forces with Queens of the Stone Age front-man Joshua Homme’s Rekords Rekords label and will be distributing select titles from their impressive catalogue. Excited is not really the word to describe how Domino feel about this newly forged working relationship. The first title will be the seminal eponymous debut album from Queens of the Stone Age, which will be reissued on March 7th 2011 and is already available to listen to on Spotify Premium from today.
This Rekords Rekords re-issue, in conjunction with Domino, has been fully remastered from the original tapes and has been expanded by three tracks. “The Bronze” & “These Aren’t the Droids Your Looking For” (from the split EP from ‘98) and “Spiders and Vinegaroons” which was part of the posthumous Kyuss/QOTSA split EP. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Domino & Rekords Rekords are offering Spotify users the chance to win 1 of 5 personalised i.e. signed with a message to YOU personally, QOTSA LP’s!
