Mt. Desolation, the new alt-country side project of Keane’s Tim-Rice Oxley and Jesse Quin, release their debut album ‘Mt. Desolation‘ this Monday. The project was hatched over many a pint of Guiness on a blustery and cold September night in Dublin by the two friends. In a wildly animated conversation about music they decided to make a country album. The band have since revelled in the joy of making music without any motive other than just doing what they loved. Over the course of 10 songs, ‘Mt. Desolation‘ circles a broad pool of emotions. It is a record born out of a spirit of adventure and a lot of fun was had in the making of it.
You can sample a taster of the album for free on Spotify Mt. Desolation – Mt. Desolation Sampler or head over to Spotify Premium to hear the whole album in full before anyone else plus bonus track ’Emily’. If that’s not enough, you can also watch an exclusive interview and session with the band Tim and Jesse.
