Sharing music

With Spotify, you can share anything with anybody. A track you love, or a whole playlist. It’s incredibly easy to do.

Just copy the link of a playlist or track and then drop it into an email or a social website like Facebook or Twitter. Your friends click the link and Spotify plays the music.

Music is social

Share music with your Facebook and Spotify friends by dropping tracks and playlists on them. Click on a track and drag it over to your friend’s username. It’ll appear in their Spotify inbox. You can even add a message if you like.

To get started, just click a play button on Facebook, or click the big ‘Connect to Facebook’ button on Spotify

Your Share buttons

You’ll see them by tracks, playlists and on the cover art. Just click on the Share buttons and post music to Facebook, Twitter or Messenger.

Email sharing

Right-click a playlist and select ‘Copy HTTP Link’. Paste the link into an email and it’s ready for your friends to open. If your friends aren’t already Spotify users, they can sign up in a couple of clicks.

Not on Facebook?

Not a problem. You can still publish your profile, so it can be seen by anyone who knows your username. The result will be some super-quick sharing of playlists, top tracks, starred tracks, top artists...lots, in fact. Learn more »
