Maybe you want to play the same track throughout your house, or mix it up by playing different tracks in separate rooms? Never a problem with Spotify and Sonos.
You can control your Sonos system from the Sonos controller, the Sonos iPhone app or from any computer and stream different tracks to different rooms of the house, all in pitch perfect sound quality.

C'est vraiment une très bonne chose mais afin que "la musique doit vous accompagner où que vous soyez" je vous serais grès de bien vouloir développer une version pour Palm WebOS. Un portage de la version iPhone ne serait peut-être pas si longue. Il ne faudrait pas qu'un concurrent sérieux développe une appli WebOS car mon transfert de compte premium serait rapide je pense. Allez un effort Spotify.

Le support de Sonos est déjà une excellente nouvelle, mais j'utilise la solution développée par Logitech, et j'espère que l'écoute de Spotify sur les Squeezebox sera bientôt possible. :)

The combo of Spotify and Sonos is great. there's no fiddly setting up, no dodgy third-party hacks, no external server acting as a bridge... it just works. The quality is excellent and the wife loves it. A great thing is you can use Spotify on your mobile phone and any playlists or starred tracks are automatically synced. This is a paradigm shift away from managing your music on your PC and plugging in your mp3 player to sync. If you create a Spotify playlist on your phone on the train, it's there waiting for you to listen to it on Sonos when you get home.
Like others have mentioned, there is a plugin for Squeezebox that works fine, no hacks or "external server acting as a bridge" needed.

Si on peut écouter un titre différent dans chaque pièce (sur chaque zoneplayer Sonos) cela veut-il dire que le Spotify permet, en quelque sorte, le multiposte, non? Je pensais que cela n'était pas possible, par exemple de se connecter à Spotify simultanément sur deux PC différent (mais sur le même réseau Wifi)?

But the plugin for Squeezbox don't suport playing different tracks in separate rooms. I want an official version of Squeezbox plugin.

One wote also for the SqueezeBox support. Yes, I know there is a plugin allready, but as said it does not work on other than Intel-based systems. So for excample with my QNAP 209II NAS it doesn't work. So please, this one next!
Another vote for Squeezebox support, preferably over a NAS.
Check out AudioCast (http://www.audiocast.se). It will stream audio from any source (inlcuding Spotify) to your SqueezeBox system. I run the squeezebox server on a NAS and this solution works perfectly. I even get Spotify meta data presented on my SB duet remote!
+1 For the Squeezebox plugin. 3rd party is very good but limited and could benefit from having a full dev team behind it.

am already a sonos s5 owner and great news but even better news today was i bought an external dac for connecting my hifi to pc.....sort of blows the sonos 5 out of the water as my main system but great that i can now use spotify for all music instead of messing with napster on sonos s5.....320kbps rules
Interesting that you release something like this before a Windows Mobile client. WM probably has more users that this Sonos thingy that no one has heard of.
Finally, and YES! it will be a killer. I really love my Sonos system but has always missed the Spotify connection. Together it will make me never use a MP3's again :)
