Music catalogue updated with 71,903 tracks

We had an update a few days back but I didn’t get a chance to post the releases so here we go. We added 6,197 albums and singles to the catalogue, in total 71,903 new tracks are now available.

A few highlights includes:

Phrazes For The Young by Julian Casablancas
Greatest Hits by Foo Fighters
World Painted Blood by Slayer

Have a look at the Google doc for the full listing of all the releases. As with every update not all albums listed may be available in your country and some tracks previously available may no longer be playable due to regional restrictions.

'Twould be great to get Transatlantic's new album "The Whirlwind" on here, it is seemingly possible with the lengthy title track split into parts. Apart from that minor problem, however, it can only be an excellent addition to their currently full catalogue on Spotify. In other Portnoy news, Liquid Tension Experiment is another sadly missing! Needless to say, keep up the tunes Spotify! :) Peace.

Transatlantic!!!!!! I want it. OK, I have ordered the CD, but I want it on Spotify as well! The same goes for Sylvans backcatalogue, and the newest Riverside album. Is it just me, or has the updates been fewer in the last couple of months?

highlight for me in this update : the new Helen Money album "in tune" everything is performed with just a solo cello and some effects, but that thing still heavily rocks, and even includes a Minutemen cover "Political Song for Michael Jackson to Sing" :)

@lajomi : fi, the french Kent is publishing discs since 1977 (first with Starshooter, then solo as Kent since 1982). There are actually around 15 "french Kent" albums since 1982 (while your swedish band came to life&light only in the 90s) but luckily we frenchies are for sharing, even band names, so we don't mind ;-)

More to explore! Always good! :) As for the bands with the same name issue. When that problem comes up, why not just add country of origin behind the band name. That's how it's solved in most other databases. So french Kent would be Kent (FR) and Swedish would be Kent (SE). There might be some cases where a band with the same name would have the same originating country, but that should be VERY rare... I can't come up with a single occurence really :)

And I don't find so much music sorry, you have a great catalogue but it want more songs, more song of The Fray like Fall Away and Bush like The people that we love...
