Earlier today we hosted a little breakfast seminar for some clients, agencies and a few reporters at the Hotel Rival here in Stockholm. Daniel talked about about how Spotify came to be and where we’re going. We also had a presentation by the great Mark Earls, author of Herd, and we’d really like to thank him for making the trip and hope to see him again soon.

For a lot of people this is a short work week but that’s not stopping us from adding more music to our ever growing library. Today we’ve updated our music catalogue with 995 albums and singles, in total close to 15,000 new tracks are now available.
Today’s update has a lot of releases from Earache Records for all those metal fans out there. The label covers bands such as The Haunted and Cathedral.

After a beautiful weekend we’re all hard at work again today. To get the week started nicely we’ve updated our music catalogue with 1,900 albums and singles, in total more than 20,000 new tracks are now available.
Today we’ve added the new single, Angela, by Jarvis Cocker who has a new album out next month. The new Bob Dylan album, Together Through Life, is now available as a wide release.
Also included in today’s update is our first delivery of music from Naxos, so there is lots of new music for the classical fans out there.

Bob Dylan, is one of the most iconic artists of our time. For more than 40 years he’s been creating classic albums and his influence on music can be heard almost everywhere. Next week he’s releasing his latest record, Together Through Life, but starting today Spotify Premium users in Sweden can pre-listen to the whole album.

We recently released Spotify 0.3.14. No additional features were added to this release, but a number of bug fixes, including one for the “Internal Corruption” errors, were included.
Madina Lake burst onto the music scene in 2007 with their debut album, From Them, Through Us, To You. On May 5th they are releasing their follow-up record, Attics to Eden, and will be touring with the Van’s Warp Tour this summer in support of the album. Starting today, Spotify Premium subscribers in the UK can pre-listen to the entire album Again and Again so now is a great time to subscribe.

Today we have a special pre-release for Spotify Premium subscribers. More Than Thieves, a new band out of England, is debuting their music on Spotify with an exclusive Live Session recorded for Spotify.
Monday is here and so is another big update to our music catalogue. Toady we’ve added 4,150 albums and singles, in total more 41,000 new tracks are now up.
Most anticipated in todays update is the new Depeche Mode album, Sounds Of The Universe and also the new Green Day single, Know Your Enemy. Also out today is My Maudlin Career, a new album from Camera Obscura and Pop Lie, the new single by Okkervil River.

Back in 2007 The Enemy broke onto the scene with their hugely popular first album, We’ll Live and Die in These Towns. On April 27th they are releasing their new album, Music For The People, but Spotify Premium users in the UK can listen to it on Spotify starting today.
