Main responsibilities of the team
Building apps for The Spotify Platform. Interact with our friends at Rolling Stone Magazine, Pitchfork, Last.FM, Billboard
Responsibilities
• Cutting Edge Web Dev technology
• Building things for the latest version of Chromium, nothing else!
• Creating next generation apps for the Spotify Platform
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Deployment of code and cooperation with involved departments.
• Making sure our platform is accessible to the largest possible audience without any loss of performance
Requirements
• Expert knowledge Javascript and HTML5
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for UI components
• Experience working with high-performance sites in a fast paced environment
• Skills in building user interfaces and knowledge of best practices on user experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
Pluses
• You often use the term ”pixel perfection”
• You are bored of GIT jokes
• You go beyond using the ”Homebrew” theme for the terminal
• You are familiar with Photoshop
• You love tracking and setting up funnels for the things you build
• Experience in building web apps for Facebook (or simular)
