Senior Account Manager (Label Relations) within Label Relations in Berlin, Germany

Summary
The Label Relations team manages hundreds of label relationships across the globe with a network of Account Managers in different Spotify territories. The position will serve as primary point of contact for record labels, distributors & aggregators in the DACH region, but also working closely with central international teams.
The Account Manager will focus on developing and maintaining excellent relationships with Spotify’s content providers locally by enabling them to maximise the service as both a sales and promotional platform, and by providing market research and consumer insight. This individual will also leverage this relationship to further Spotify’s marketing and distribution initiatives to the mutual benefit of Spotify and its label partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide the best possible service to rights holders with regards to artist marketing, business intelligence and revenue maximization
- Assure timely and correct delivery and publishing of new content. Resolve any operational matters that may affect your label partners
- Identify, develop and execute unique marketing initiatives by leveraging artist and label relationships
- Offer guidance and insight into service functionality and evolution
- Provide strategic and financial insight and develop best practice in order to help partners achieve and build on revenue targets
- Liaise with Brand Partnership and Business Development teams to help drive and execute opportunities with third parties
- Ensure Spotify has the best possible content offering in your territories and use this to further Spotify’s appeal to existing and new users
- Strong combined music and technology background
- Extensive account management experience with an established digital music service, major record label or major media company
- Proven track record of key results in marketing, strategy and infrastructure management/development
- Strong analytical skills
- Extremely adept with content management systems and supply chain processes with high-volumes of media
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to craft and deliver executive-level presentations
- Excellent negotiating and people skills
- Well organized with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Fluency in Germany and English, French / Italian desired
