Having always wanted to work in the advertising world, Rocío studied for an Advertisement and PR degree at the University of Madrid. She followed this with a "Creativity in Advertisement" Masters. Afterwards, Rocío knew exactly where she wanted to go - Spotify.
Ever since Rocío first tried Spotify she loved it: "I am great fan because I think it's one of the greatest services ever given to people! That's why I decided to send my CV to Spotify, and then eventually got hired for the Traffic Manager position for Spain".
Rocío is responsible for all advertising campaigns for Spotify Spain, and she is in daily contact with the other Traffic Managers in Europe. "We are a great team; we help each other although we're in different countries. And we share our experiences. That's one of the reasons working for Spotify is so amazing - we are like a big, big family. My greatest advice to anyone who wants to be part of the fantastic Spotify team is to be open-minded and to never forget about team building."
Rocío is a big music fan. She listens to many types of music, but certainly not mainstream! "I like to dive into the music world and I am always open to hear something new. That is why I don't have a favourite band or singer, but I really like listening to Spanish music, rock and indie".
