Sólo tienes que hacer click en “Play in Spotify” para ir directamente desde Shazam a nuestra versión móvil de Spotify, escuchar la canción completa y explorar más música del artista encontrado.

I use Shazam to find out the song, and then I open up Spotify to add it to my premium account. Nicely done to have it go the other way.

Can we have this on Symbian please. That would be great. Must get Android for my next phone I think. There are so many things it does that I want.
Doesn't work on the free iPhone Shazam app, right? (Funny - can't find any info on this new Spotify feature on Shazam's page...)
+1 for SoundHound please. As an application which allows unlimited free lookups, SoundHound users might be lesser in number but they're more likely to send you traffic...

Great, i have missed this feature
I downloaded Shazam Encore to my iPhone. However when I tap the option to play in Spotify it opens it but only displays the 'What's New' page and doesn't play the song.

This is a brilliant new feature! i was a soundhound convert, but redownloaded shazam now. still, the same functionality would be much appreciated in the IMO superior soundhound
We still cannot view details for a track without first playing the song. This is incredibly annoying. How come this is a PC function but was not carried over to the mobile apps? Any chance of getting a fix for this in an update? I want to browse artists and read bios without it playing.

I requested this feature long time ago and can't believe it's actually here!! Couple of things I still miss: I browse trough friends playlists all the time to see what they have discovered. It would be great if you could "follow" them better without having to open them and scroll down every list to see if there is anything new in there. Also a playlist/feed of all the songs you have added to playlists would be great. People sort their music to different playlists (which is understandable), it would be nice to browse all the songs they have added (in date added sorting). This way it would be a lot easier to check new songs from friends and from yourself as well. Still lovin' spotify, thank you guys!

I just need too ask a question, When me and my family were starting to use spotify we called to a worker on these programme and asked if we can play to people at the same time and she said yes But that is not the truth. is there a possibility that you can fix it so we all can play at the same time?
Have you ever considered to have a posibility to link songs with their lyrics? Maybe a with a lyrics website or even have them inside Spotify? ... That would be awesome!!! :)

Support for SoundHound would be even better. I find SoundHound more accurate matching songs. For example Shazam thought swedish song Beskyddaren from Kent to be the english version of the song Protection, which is kind of right but not really.

Most of the reviews on here are very glowing, unfortunately my experience of the Shazaom 'Play on Spotify' option is not good. I would say 9 times out of 10 the song isn't found on Spotify. However if I do a search for the same song from within Spotify I can find it, usually there is a slight difference in the name of the artist e.g. if in Shazam you select Do it Like a Dude by Jesse J, and then click on the 'Play it On Spotify' option it doesn't find the song, even though it is on Spotify albeit with additions to the title of the track e.g. 'Do it Like a Dude - Explicit Version'. Surely the search can be a bit more savvy than that! Having said that love the idea and think Spotify is great!
When can we expect to have Spotify available in Portugal? I know so many people wanting it! I used to have it back in Amsterdam and I miss it a lot!
My experience with Spotify & Shazan is not very good, it never finds the song with the Play on Spotify option. I use Spotify in Spain and Shazan Red.
