After a nice long weekend we’ve got some more music for you today. We’ve added 919 albums and singles today, in total 10,624 new tracks are now available.
Some of the new releases from today’s update include Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix by Phoenix. Also released today was Marilyn Manson’s new album, The High End of Low. The 80s rockers Simple Minds have a new release today, Graffiti Soul. Also up today is a special Franz Ferdinand release, Blood was originally packaged in the deluxe and box-set versions of their last album.
Also part of today’s update is the wider release of Daniel Merriweather’s new album, Love & War. Previously this was available only to premium subscribers in Sweden, UK and Norway but now users of our free service in those countries can also listen to the album a full week before its wide release.
For a full listing of today’s additions please have a look at the Google Doc. As with every update not all albums listed may be available in your country and some tracks previously available may no longer be playable due to regional restrictions.

just a little suggestion, you might consider stylizing the blog format a bit when calling out a list of new albums that were recently added to spotify. it's kinda hard to read a bunch of names in a paragraph (and if you read the above post you'll notice you also struggled, understandably so, to reinvent a way to repeatedly say "we also added"). i'd suggest something like: We're particularly excited about the following albums we added: * <link>Phoenix</link> by <link>Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix</link> * <link>Graffiti Soul</link> by <link>Simple Minds</link> * etc

Nice update but one thing strikes me as odd, you released the Queen Dream Theater cover Tenement Funster/Flick Of The Wrist/Lily Of The Valley in this update which is known as the Week 2 cover in the run up to their new album. You still haven't released the Week 1 cover which is Rainbow's Stargazer.

Hmm, so were Arctic Monkeys supposed to be blocked, or is that an error? It seems odd, because not all of them are blocked. Is this one of the labels getting cold feet about Spotify? I hope not, it's a fantastic service, and if they have any sense they will support it.

I would be great to have some kind of form where we listeners can report wrong tracktitles, misspelling and so on.
