About Spotify

Spotify is a new kind of digital music service designed to help you enjoy music a little more.

How do we do it?

The best things often come in small packages. We've created a powerful, but extremely lightweight software application that users will simply download. You can then log onto our service at which point our proprietary technology methods enable on demand streaming of music.

Down in the vaults at Spotify we're busy putting together one of the biggest collections of music available anywhere, carefully ordered and tagged with metadata that makes it easy to search, find and explore. Our development team keep polishing the product by adding new features that strengthen the user experience.

What we're all about

Here at Spotify, we're all about making sustainable, scalable and commercially viable products that people love to use. We love solving problems, and want to be known as smart business people who create great technology and treat our partners and users with respect. We believe that it's worth working extra hard to make complicated things simple and delightful to use.

We like to drink coffee, share favourite songs, arrange fuss ball tournaments, sing and play, rock the dance machines, hang out with friends, enjoy the good things in life, go to concerts, write stuff on white boards and listen to our music louder than we probably should.
